The Carbon Guard™ SL Shear Lock System is a foundation wall reinforcement kit designed for homes with basement or crawl space walls that are cracking, bowing, leaning, or sliding at the bottom. It works by fastening super-strong carbon fiber straps vertically along the wall and locking them in place with top and bottom anchors. The “shear lock” plates at the floor add extra stability where walls are most likely to shift, while high-strength epoxy bonds everything permanently to the surface. Once installed, the system stops further movement, strengthens the wall, and leaves a low-profile finish that can be painted over for a clean look.
