The Jackel sump check valve (CH-150S-150MT) works great when vertical space is lacking. The valve threads right into the discharge of a 1.5" sump pump. It comes with Jackel's own adapter which fits a variety of pipes, such as 1.5" black, galvanized, or DWV schedule 40 pipe.
